A large public sector decarbonisation scheme (PSDS) involving more than 60 large public sector complexes
CEO of Solar Services Solutions was the technical lead for the largest decarbonisation project PSDS1 in the UK
In 2020 the Energy team within Hounslow Council were successful in bidding for and securing a total of £19m of funding from the Public Sector Decarbonization Scheme Grant (PSDS), for energy efficiency and heat decarbonisation project within the public sector for 32 schools (£7.7m) and 29 corporate sites (£11.3m) which include leisure centres, libraries and public halls etc, funded by Salix Finance.
Five Leisure Centres implemented for Net-Zero project.
- Hanworth Airpark Leisure Centre And Library: ASHP 197kW output, Solar PV 207.1kWp and LED lights
- Heston Leisure Centre: ASHP 197 kW output, Solar PV 133.38kWp and LED Lights
- Isleworth Leisure Centre And Library: ASHP 307kW output, Solar PV 49.78kWp and LED Lights
- New Chiswick Leisure Centre: ASHP 142kW output, Solar PV 49.88kWp and LED Lights
- Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre: ASHP 265kW, Solar PV 193.5kWp and LED Lights
